2014 Criminal Law Update Faculty Instructor
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, was appointed as Faculty Instructor for the annual seminar focusing on developments in criminal law and procedure sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Mr. Lindy taught a course entitled, Talking to the Media: Ethical Do’s and Don’ts and discussed recent changes to the Pennsylvania Rules of Professional Misconduct pertaining to responsibilities and proscriptions that must be adhered to by attorneys when and if they entertain media inquiries about a client or case.

Lindy Appointed by Philadelphia Bar Association to serve as
Co-Chair of the Chancellor’s Education Task Force

Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, is pleased to announce that he has been appointed by Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor William Fedullo to serve as Co-Chair of the Association’s Education Task Force. Along with Co-Chair Judge John Young, Lindy will work with Chancellor Fedullo and Philadelphia School District Superintendent Dr. William Hite, as well as local and state legislative leaders, to find ways in which Philadelphia attorneys can help the city’s public schools as they navigate through this difficult and critical period. The Task Force will study fundamental problems — such as the lack of an adequate and fair funding formula that is harming children everywhere — and seek to implement solutions

to serve as Co-Chair of the Legislative Liaison Committee

Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, is pleased to announce that he has been appointed by Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor William Fedullo to serve as Co-Chair of the Association’s Legislative Liaison Committee in 2013. The Legislative Liaison Committee brings to the attention of Bar Association leaders various legislative and administrative matters of interest to the legal community. As Co-Chair, Mr. Lindy will be responsible for serving as liaison between members of the federal, state and local legislatures, legislative counsel of the Association, and the Association’s Divisions, Sections and Committees.

to Serve as Vice-Chair of the Government Relations
