Lindy Appointed as Adjunct Professor at Drexel University Earle Mack School of Law

Jeffrey M. Lindy was appointed by the Dean of Drexel’s Law School to serve as an Adjunct Professor of Law teaching Introduction to Trial Advocacy, or “ITA”, to second and third year law students. ITA is a trial practice seminar where students learn trial skills based on strategic themes and theories by engaging in all aspects of trial litigation in a classroom setting, such as direct and cross-examination of lay, party and expert witnesses, opening and closing statements, making and arguing objections, and conducting a complete mock trial as a final exam.

Lindy Invited by Drexel University School of Law to be
Guest Lecturer in Advanced Trial Advocacy Course

Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, is pleased to announce that he was invited to be a guest lecturer at Drexel Law School teaching trial advocacy and tactics to law students in their final year of study. The course, Advanced Trial Advocacy, is only open to advanced students planning on pursuing a career in courtroom litigation.

Lindy Appointed as Faculty Instructor for
Annual Fall Training Seminar for Federal Court Practitioners

Appointed as faculty instructor for a training seminar sponsored by the U.S. District Court and the Office of the Federal Public Defender, and attended by assistant federal public defenders and attorneys in private practice who receive appointments from the Federal Court to represent indigent defendants in criminal matters. Taught course pertaining to investigating, preparing and presenting effective mitigation at sentencing.

Lindy invited to Present Lecture at Widener University School of Law Symposium

Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, is pleased to announce that he was invited to present a lecture at a Widener Law School symposium entitled, “High Profile, High Impact Criminal Cases – The Penn State Scandal & the Prosecution of Philadelphia Church Officials.” Mr. Lindy addressed the difficulties and dilemmas that he confronted when representing Msgr. William Lynn, the highest ranking member of the U.S. Catholic Church to be convicted after a jury trial for his conduct related to the Church child-sex abuse scandal. This three-month long high profile trial received daily coverage from the international, national and local news media, creating unusually complex legal and ethical issues.
