Jeffrey M. Mr. Lindy will present remarks along with other faculty panelists regarding ethical issues confronted by criminal defense attorneys, and legislative and case-law issues pertaining to the adoption of the Pennsylvania Civility Code.

The course is entitled “President Judges State of the Courts Report.”

Lindy, Esquire, is pleased to announce that he will be a panelist at a Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) course sponsored by the Professional Responsibility Committee and conducted at the Bench-Bar Conference. Mr. Lindy will present remarks along with a U.S. District Court Judge regarding legislative and case-law issues pertaining to the adoption of the Pennsylvania Civility Code. The course is entitled, “Civility – Nice Guys and Gals Do Not Finish Last.”
Lindy to Serve on Joint State Government Commission's Advisory Committee
Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, has been appointed by State Senators Stewart Greenleaf (R, Montgomery County) and Daylin Leach (D, Montgomery County) to serve on the Joint State Government Commission's Advisory Committee on the Philadelphia Court System. This blue-ribbon task force was created pursuant to Senate Resolution 344 to study issues and problems in Philadelphia's criminal justice system, and will issue a written report to the Senate upon completion of its investigation.
Mr. Lindy will serve on the Advisory Committee with other esteemed members of the legal community including Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams, Chief Public Defender Ellen Greenlee, the chair of Temple University's Criminal Justice Dept., Prof. John Goldkamp, Walter Phillips, Jr., Esq., and Everett Gillison, Philadelphia's Deputy Mayor of Public Safety.
Mr. Lindy has offices in Philadelphia and Montgomery County where he and the attorneys associated with his firm concentrate their practice in federal and state criminal defense, and represent both corporate and individual clients during all phases of criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings.
Mr. Lindy is a former federal prosecutor from the Philadelphia U.S. Attorney's Office and a former Assistant District Attorney from the Brooklyn D.A.'s Office.
Lindy Opens Three-Day Seminar As Keynote Speaker (Miami, FL)
Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, was invited by the Director of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts in Washington, D.C. to be the keynote speaker at the “Multi Track Specialty Seminar” in Miami, Florida. Mr. Lindy opened the three-day training seminar, which taught trial practice and procedure to experienced federal court criminal defense practitioners from around the nation.
Jeff Lindy Featured in Federal Courts Newsletter
Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, was recently featured in an article in The Third Branch, a monthly newsletter published by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. The Third Branch has a circulation of about 20,000 federally elected officials, staff, and members of the Federal Judiciary.
The article, titled "The Making of a CJA Attorney," describes Mr. Lindy's experiences as a CJA panel attorney and the training of CJA attorneys, who work in conjunction with federal defenders to represent CJA-eligible defendants.

Pennsylvania Innocence Project
Jeffrey M. Lindy, Esquire, is pleased to announce his reappointment to the Pennsylvania Innocence Project Board of Directors. The Pennsylvania Innocence Project seeks to secure the exoneration, release from imprisonment, and restoration to society of persons who are innocent and have been wrongly convicted. The project also provides clinical training to students and collaborates with law enforcement agencies and the courts to address systemic causes of wrongful convictions. Mr. Lindy serves on the Legislation Committee.
